Emil Ivanov enchants the audience with his sound, voluminous tenor, with his brilliant pitches and beautiful timbre. He is an artist of varied repertoire including mainly parts of 19th century operas by Verdi, Meyerbeer, Massenet, Bizet. Most outstanding among his performances are these from "veristic" works by Puccini, Mascagni, Leoncavallo, Giordano. For this CD the singer has chosen mainly arias which express in the best manner his musical, vocal and emotional nature.
