Kolekce: World MusicPodkolekce: Ethno Kontômè (spirits) is an inspiring collection of some of Gabin Dabirés most alluring poetry, which, in accordance with his West African tradition, is integrated within a musical setting.
The engaging songs and charismatic vocals in this recording feature several new gems to delight the heart.
A beautiful song album of a great living African musician. Simple, profound and direct.
The Kontômè are idols that every household keeps in the same room as the altar. These icons represent the ancestral spirits, the guiding light of the family and society as a whole. These idols belong to the religious traditions of the Dagara tribe, an ethnic group native to Burkina Faso.
The Kontômè light our path throughout the course of our lives. We pray to them, we ask their advice and we thank them for what we are and what we have, now and in the future. In return, they help us as our destiny unfolds.
Therefore, through this small musical work, I thank my Kontômè and everyone else who, with infinite patience and determination, cooperated in the realization of this project.
- Gabin Dabiré

Podkolekce: Flute Orchestra da Camera Fiorentina, Conductor: Antonio Rossi
This tribute, inspired by James Redfield's bestseller, The Celestine Prophecy, comprises ten movements featuring Andrea Ceccomori on flute, supported by the Orchestra da Camera Fiorentina.
The beautiful melodies are hauntingly romantic, evoking the intimate and mysterious soul of Gaia.
Lyrical flute lines are delicately woven into warm orchestral textures whose variations flow, soar and spiral until they reach heights of passion and majesty.
A feeling of deep emotional tranquillity pervades, like a stream which tumbles and cascades through virgin forests without ever losing, for a moment, its sense of flow or purpose; as if the little stream already knew the ocean that awaits it.
The energy behind the creation of this work guides us gently back to a compassionate space where we may once again breathe freely in the remembrance of our own primordial nature. |

Guests:
Enzo Pietropaoli, Gabriele Mirabassi, Enrico Rava, Stefano Bollani, Michele Ascolese, Rosario Iermano, Gianmaria Testa.
Cantu is finally the NEW work of the two internationally acclaimed sicilian Brothers.
All fans who enjoyed the previous album "Bella Maria" and their acting in "The Talented Mr. Ripley" an Anthony Minghella Hollywood Movie, will be certainly pleased and surprised by the sophisticated beauty of this new album.
The Mancuso Brothers crossed over apparently incompatible worlds in the last twenty years, trough the Sutera's ( their village) lost paths of their native Sicily to the remote suburbs of London.
They learned the language of the rimembrance, like the castaway learns swimming, avoiding any distractions.
They began singing professionally without actually realizing it and they are still doing it even when, left the London mists, they came back to Italy, following an ideal, essential song, crucial like a first need.
After the success of "Bella Maria " the Mancuso Brothers have become cultural Icons of their native and beloved Sicily, performing in all major Theaters and Festivals, appearing in Radio and Television with their "virtuous unconsciousness", in Italy and abroad.
Now, revisiting their long artistic journey, they expose the main themes of their musical poetry, in these beautiful, well arranged new tracks, accompanied by exceptional fellow travellers like Enzo Pietropaoli on Doublebass, Gabriele Mirabassi on clarinet, Enrico Rava on trumpet, Stefano Bollani on piano, Michele Ascolese on guitar and buzuki, Rosario Iermano on percussions and Gianmaria Testa voice.
A true musical and cultural event for all lovers of fine Italian Music and Art.
A Must for all those interested in Sicilian and Mediterranean culture. |

"When I visited Paolo Giaro at his studio I felt I had stepped into the den of a wizard. It seems he has invited an entire world of international musicians to pass through Pesaro, and has absorbed their influence and influenced them in turn.
He has created a complex and original style of music, enriched with rhythms and melodies from the streets of the world and bound together by his extraordinary twentieth-century compositional mind. This is, to me, a truly fascinating direction for music to take."
