Jahrhunderts widmet. |

Collection: Renaissance Subcollection: ChoralThis collection includes sung settings of works by traditional improvisatory Renaissance poets from Tuscany and Corsica, as well as instrumental pieces of the period. Lucidarium specialises in medieval and Renaissance music and have earned popular and critical acclaim.
Lucidarium is an ensemble specializing in medieval and Renaissance music. Each program is the fruit of a long period of research and preparation in various fields, resulting in a different sonority for each program: a vivacious combination of voices and instruments with the freedom in execution which comes from a solid knowledge of musical style and historical background. Although the research for the various projects is the responsibility of its two directors, the final product is developed collectively, the result of rehearsals where each musician is fully involved in the creative process. From its founding, this combination of meticulous preparation, joyful improvisation and energetic music-making has brought both popular and critical acclaim to the ensemble. |

Collection: Renaissance Subcollection: ChoralFrom the time of Christianity’s introduction into Europe until the end of the first millennium, apocalyptic images of the End of Time and the Last Judgement were widespread, both in texts and in the visual arts. In Sequentia’s new program, ‘Fragments for the End of Time,’ Sequentia explore the musical world of these powerful texts. The instruments used in this concert include reconstructions of Germanic lyres, an early medieval triangular harp, and copies of medieval transverse flutes.
