The disc introduces music of Russian composers lived at the turn of XIX- XX centuries. This period in Russian artistic life is termed as Art Nouveau stile o “Moderne russe”. In it, a refined romantic sensitivity reaches the refined detachment of the symbol. “Unsurpassable charms, great intensity and sincerity do not leave anyone indifferent towards the music of that period”- says pianist Gennady Dzyubenko at presentation of his new disc dedicated to Russian Moderne. “My task is to show various aspects of this unique style in music of well-known and frequently performed and less-known composers but never-the-less brilliant and talented.”
