Young virtuoso pianist James Willshire’s debut recording explores the full gamut of Boyle’s ompositional personality - from the cragginess of his finely wrought Sonata to the intensely human lyricism of Tatty’s Dancing (itself a sixtieth birthday present for Boyle's wife).
